WHAT TO EXPECT on your first visit.
Any new experience, especially when it comes to your health, can be unnerving. We understand this might also apply to patients who are new to chiropractic and we will make every effort to make your first experience with us as comfortable as possible.

We recommend that you arrive fifteen minutes early for your first visit to allow you the time to complete your required paperwork. We will be happy to answer all of your questions and concerns at that time.

You will be asked about your past health history including your old injuries, chronic problems, your current symptoms, and additional questions designed to help determine the nature of your condition. These include your family history, dietary habits, job or work habits, and previous treatments for the current condition.  Please be as thorough as possible as our physicians belive in treating our patients in a way that takes care of the whole person.

A careful physical examination and analysis will be performed to detect any abnormalities which may be causing your problem.  If needed, you may be sent for labratory testing or imaging such as x-ray or MRI.
Our stafff will tailor a treatment program to your needs, addressing your specific health problems and personal concerns.  We believe through working as a team with our patients we can achieve the best outcomes.

Our goal is to remove your aches and pains as quickly as possible.  While treatment may cause temporary soreness as the healing cycle is initiated, our patients frequently leave feeling better.

CHIROPRACTIC MEDICINE is an hands-on approach to heathcare.  Chiropractic physicians focus on natural methods to restoring and maintaining health through manual therapy, nutritional medicine, and lifestyle changes.  Through appropriate use of labratory testing and imaging, our physicians work to find the cause of the disease or dysfunction.  Our goal is to use treatments which maximize outcomes and minimize risks to the patient.  Chiropractic physicians frequently refer to to medical doctors when appropriate and work with other healthcare providers to provide the best care possible.

HOW DOES CHIROPRACTIC WORK?

Chiropractic works by removing obstacles to health through breaking cycles such as inflammation and muscle spasms.  Treatments increase blood flow and healing to damaged tissues and work through reflexes to promote healthy muscle tone.  Chiropractic physicians utilize a broad range of tools to promote healing such as chiropractic manipulation, soft tissue techniques, ultrasound, acupuncture, exercise, topical pain relievers and nutritional interventions to promote healing.
