Dr. Jaclyn DiGiacomo, DPT
Jaclyn DiGiacomo received her doctorate from Creighton University and gained vast experience working around the world, including field work on an American Indian reservation.  Her clinical work has included both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation assignments as well as long term and assisted living care.  She also has extensive skill in treating a wide array of conditions and disorders.

PHYSICAL THERAPY applies to both chronic and
temporary disabilities that are caused by accidents,
disease, surgical procedures and other various
medical conditions.
 
  Physical therapy is designed to relieve pain, improve mobility, increase strength, balance and motion and improve overall fitness and health.
 
  Treatment consists of exercises and can include working with equipment designed for specific tasks and muscle mobilization. Ultrasound, electrical stimulation, massage therapy and hot and cold applications may also be included as part of a complete program.
Jennifer Cundiff, PTA
Jennifer has been a practicing Physical Therapy Assistant for over 5 years. She earned her PTA degree at Fayetteville Technical Community College in North Carolina. Jennifer has a strong background in orthopedic, postural and stroke rehabilitation, but is willing to take on any musculoskeletal challenge. Her philosophy is to educate each patient of their condition and their potential; as this is absolutly necessary for the sucess of rehabilitation.
Julie Valkanet, LMT
Julie Valkanet is a licensed Massage Therapist specializing in medical massage techniques. She graduated from the Massage and Bodywork Institute in 1999 and has been working in the holistic medical field for 10 years. Julie joined the CHPT staff in 2006. Her techniques include: deep tissue, triggerpoint therapy, pre-natal massage, relaxation/swedish.

Vicki Parker, PTA
Vicki has worked as a licensed PTA for over 4 years. She has worked 2 years in a hospital setting for both in-patient and out-patient therapy gaining experience in orthopedic surgery. She is an avid runner and former health instructor for Oakton college.  Vicki believes the key to healing is proper guidance for exercise and nutrition as well as a positive attitude. She is happy to be part of the Chicago Health and Physical Therapy team.
