PHYSICIANS

Richard J. Dietzen, D.C., Medical Director of Chicago Health and Physical Therapy Center, is a board certified, licensed Chiropractic Physician with a long and distinguished career as a medical professional.  He is an active force at both the state and national levels behind the recognition and growth of chiropractic science as a successful healthcare option in the diagnosis and treatment of illness and ailments.

Among his many accomplishments, Dr. Dietzen has served as:
President of the Chicago Chiropractic Society
President of the Illinois Chiropractic Society
Chairman of the board of Trustees of the
   National University of Health Sciences
A past member of the Illinois Medical Licensing Board
Dr. Dietzen is also a certified acupuncturist and hypnotherapist.  His personal professional philosophy is to provide patients with conservative healthcare solutions as an alternative to surgical and aggressive pharmaceutical options along with his firm belief in patient education that emphasizes  healthy lifestyle choices.

Anton N. Dietzen, D.C., is a board certified, licensed chiropractic physician.  He is a graduate of the prestigious National University of Health Science where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine degree as well as a second bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science.  He attended the University of Illinois where he graduated in 2005 with a bachelor’s degree in science, majoring in Kinesiology.  There he was a Division I wrestler for the Fighting Illini, competing during their Big Ten championship season.  He was also a two –time All State High School wrestler.  While in his clinical rotation at National University, Dr. Dietzen volunteered extensively at Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital in Wheaton, Illinois, where he worked with children with disabilities.  He maintains his interest in this group and is passionate about working with and coordinating care for children with special needs.  While researching new treatment options for this population, Dr. Dietzen discovered several techniques and interventions to expand the areas of care available for CHPT patients.
Anton Dietzen, D. C. has taken postgraduate courses in kinesiotaping and holds certification in laser and traditional acupuncture.  His experiences have kindled a special interest in sports medicine and functional nutrition- a holistic approach to health and nutrition which emphasizes the biochemical and physiological uniqueness of each patient.    He is frequently asked to lecture on these subjects.  Dr. Anton Dietzen is a strong advocate for patient education and involvement and is excited to be part of the CHPT team.
